The delivery service is reliable and the food quality is quite good. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years and I would definitely recommend this place. Their portion sizes are generous and offer good value for the price. Thank you china Star!!!!

I am from China so I may be biased. The owner is from a city about 100km from where I live in Canton, China. About the distance between Concord, NH and Brockton, MA. The food is great. I ate here twice. Broccoli Beef and General Tso's Chicken were what I had. The beef was good. Very fresh and lots of beef. The General Tso's chicken does not have as much compared with other restaurants, but it tastes about right. It is a typical Chinese takeout restaurant. One last caution: Chinese restaurants in North America are not "real" Chinese food, especially if they are fast food restaurants like China Star. It does not matter if the owner or the cook is Chinese or not, the flavor has been Americanized to suit local taste. If you want to taste "real" Chinese food from China, go to Boston's Chinatown and look for restaurants with big round tables, Chinese language menus and big groups of Chinese people eating there. Like China Pearl Restaurant, or Empire Garden Restaurant.

Love their crab rangoons. I've contemplated just getting a big order of those to devour by my lonesome. Also love the fried white rice with scallions, onions, and bean sprouts. Pretty decent Chinese food and not super expensive. I've yet to be unsatisfied.

This is my families go to. We tried other places we liked but owners changed. This place is consistently great. We order New Years Eve or a Sunday its equally as delicious. Its fresh and they are so friendly. Delivered fast or pick it up. Great place. Highly recommend

My 4 year old will pick this place 10 times out of 10 I would've loved to post a before the massacre photo of the food in all its glory but I had to feed the hungry wolves lol My 1 year old in her high chair and my 4 year old boy had worked up an appetite needless to say they were ready to FEAST! I placed the order at 2:16 on Super Bowl Sunday and 2:46 the food was delivered The kids were ecstatic! With no time left to play around I quickly and swiftly opened up the food and the kids instantly dropped their mouths to the floor as they were now in food heaven. They kids ate and they ate until they physically couldn't eat anymore There was sooo much food before we started so much food that we should've complained but nobody in their right mind would complain about too much food right? lol The combo had chicken fried rice boneless spare ribs crab Rangoon and chicken wings A small order of general chau's chicken came with white rice China star is notorious for its HUGE portions They're not like most places where u get 2-4 apps and a much smaller "combo" box with less rice They give so much rice Like 8 crab Rangoon's about 20 pieces of juicy not full of fat or dry spare ribs and 2 chicken wings And the total delivered was only $24 Look at the amount of left overs we have left in the photo Yes this was after 3 people ate 1 adult male 4 year old boy 1 year old girl I'd like to say I'm proud of how much food my kids were able to put away But we still have enough for mom to have a full meal later with some left over
